For Project-Based Learning in Childcare Programs |
|
|
The National Association for the Education of Young Children works to raise the
quality of childcare for children to age 8. A major part of NAEYC's effort is
accreditation of programs to published standards. ArtHouse has proven effective
as a teaching aide in countless NAEYC accredited programs (including preschools,
kindergartens, and afterschool programs). ArtHouse is especially powerful as a
pre-literacy teaching aide. When kids organize the presentation of art to tell
stories - storyboarding - they're developing fundamental skills for reading
and creative writing. Great for presentations of all kinds, ArtHouse helps
childcare providers demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards. |
