Dawn (age 6) and Jill (age 9) - Topeka, KS
Sisters Dawn & Jill share an ArtHouse, and share ArtHouse decoration projects!
Sometimes mom gets involved too. With this recent project, mom used an office paper-cutter
to cut construction paper into narrow strips. Mom also drew some very, very basic
architectual shapes to help Dawn get started... then the girls went to work cutting
and pasting.
Dawn used traditional mosaic techniques. Her tiles weren't necessarily rectangular, but
generally they were close, and fairly consistant in size. Jill cut her tiles into
variously sized rectangles, and in some cases she layered them on top of each other.
As the sisters demonstrate, ArtHouse projects are fun and easy to share!
You're invited to submit art to the ArtHouse Children's Art Gallery!
