The Warmth of Sunlight!

The colors selected for this rose window are relatively "cool". Stained glass artists
and architects have historically considered the orientation of windows relatively to
natural sunlight, and selected glass colors accordingly. "Cool-colored" windows like
these have often been used in the Eastern-facing walls of churchs to catch morning
sunlight, whereas warm-colored windows have been more popular in Western-facing
orientations.
